Biography
Louis B. Gardner stepped in front of the camera just as the silent era was finding its voice, leaving his silhouette on three 1915 one-reelers and a 1914 cabaret tale. Between the flicker of The Cabaret Dancer and the last frame of The Glory of Youth and Her Supreme Sacrifice, he charted a brief, bright arc across the nascent art of moving pictures, then vanished from the marquee as quickly as he had appeared.
