Biography
Robert M. Baker entered the world in 1874 and spent the next fifty-five years turning plots into pictures. Between 1914 and 1916 he placed three stories on the silent screen—The Conspiracy, Reggie Mixes In, and Flirting with Fate—each one a flickering invitation to adventure. Off-set, he shared his life with Minnie Pratt Baker. Their final curtain fell on 6 May 1929, the lights dimming for the last time in New York City.
