Biography
Hailing from Randers, Denmark, Stellan Rye embarked on his life's journey on July 4, 1880. A pioneering figure in early cinema, his talents spanned both directing and writing, leaving an indelible mark on the burgeoning art form. He is celebrated for seminal works including The Student of Prague (1913), Der Flug in die Sonne (1914), and Ein Sommernachtstraum in unserer Zeit (1914). His promising career, however, was tragically curtailed when he passed away in France on November 14, 1914.
