Biography
On a winter’s day, 28 January 1828, W.G. Wills drew his first breath on Irish soil. Pen in hand, he went on to set theatres flickering with Tense Moments from Great Plays (1922), stir consciences through The Eternal Strife (1915), and crown stages with the intrigue of A Royal Divorce (1923). His final curtain fell in London on 13 December 1891, leaving the city’s fog a shade richer with stories.
