Biography

Cincinnati, 8 January 1864, delivered William Addison Lathrop to a city humming riverboats and ink-smelling presses; by his pen he steered stories instead of steamers. 1917 saw two of his titles hit the silver sheet—Heir of the Ages and Man's Woman—while 1918 brought A Bachelor's Children into flickering light. Off-page, he shared life’s plot with Mabel C. Seiler as his co-author in marriage. The final chapter closed on 2 January 1925, in Brooklyn, where the Atlantic tides echoed the cadence of his written lines.
