Biography
London welcomed William Le Queux on 2 July 1864, and from that moment the city provided the restless energy that would fuel his tales of espionage and intrigue. Behind both pen and camera he spun shadow-world dramas, guiding The White Lie (1914), Sadounah (1915) and The Sons of Satan (1915) from script to screen. Nearly six decades later, on 13 October 1927, his final chapter closed amid the quiet Swiss Alps.
