Biography
Willis M. Goodhue stepped in front of the camera only once—yet that single appearance left a permanent footprint on film history. In 1915, the year Europe was burning and Hollywood was still learning to walk, he slipped into the shadows of The Fixer, a silent one-reel thriller that raced across nickelodeon screens. No records linger of where he was born, how tall he stood, or what he did once the director yelled “Cut!” All that remains is the flicker of his face, preserved in silver nitrate, a ghost still solving crimes at the speed of sixteen frames per second.
