Willy Haas was born on 6 July 1891 in Prague, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary [now Czech Republic]. He was a writer, known for Thérèse Raquin (1928), Dancing Vienna (1927) and L'amour qu'il faut aux femmes (1934). He was married to Herta Doctor, Hanna Waldeck and Jarmila Ambrozova. He died on 4 September 1973 in Hamburg, Germany.
