Flor de espino Synopsis
Don Juan de Peñalara, a wealthy nobleman, wants to marry his son Jorge to Juana, the daughter of his close friend Don Juan de Monreals, a wealthy Mallorcan landowner. To please his father, Jorge, accompanied by his faithful servant Fernando, sets off for Mallorca. But, as the Monreals family does not know him, Jorge fakes a farce to avoid becoming engaged to Juana. To do so, he exchanges his personality with that of his servant, who plays the role of master and he plays the servant. Once at the Monreals' estate, Ferdinand plays the role of suitor, meeting a rival in the person of Juan Pax, who loves Juana. For his part, Jorge meets Anita, a maid at the Monreals' estate, with whom he falls in love from the very first moment.
A Fitting Gift Synopsis
The Judge needs a present for his wife's birthday, so Harry suggests a new corset. They go to the shop, but he's so embarrassed to ask the saleslady he hides in a phone booth.Harry goes in, but finds a GUY wearing one, and runs out.They both dress as women to get back in, but Mrs. Rummy gets there and chases him out.
"Flor de espino" holds a slight edge in general audience appreciation, but "A Fitting Gift" offers its own unique cult appeal.
