Biography
Adele Reuter-Eichberg entered the world in Germany and stepped before the camera just long enough to leave a flicker of brilliance. Between 1922 and 1924 she slipped into three very different lives: the tormented heroine of Die Gezeichneten, the coal-dust drama of Schlagende Wetter, and the glittering intrigue of Love’s Carnival. Forty-one whirlwind years later, on 4 October 1928, the curtain dropped for good.
