Biography

A Cleveland winter had barely loosened its grip when Alberta Lee arrived on 21 March 1860, and the city’s brisk streets would be the first audience to her restless energy. That same spark later carried her to flickering silent screens, where she breathed life into three now-legendary reels: The Little Orphans (1915), Reggie Mixes In (1916), and The Little Minister (1922). Off-camera, she wrote two different love stories into her life’s script—first as Mrs. John T. Huntington, later as Mrs. William Davis—before the final curtain fell on 12 November 1928 in sun-soaked Hollywood, Los Angeles.
