Biography
A Tyne-and-Wear spark named Amy Lorraine first drew breath in Jarrow, 1867, and by 1915 she had stepped before the cameras for My Old Dutch. Within a year she doubled her screen legacy, lending life to both Trelawny of the Wells and The Great Adventure. Her final curtain fell in Walworth, London, on 9 March 1923.
