Biography
Newark, New Jersey, welcomed Anna Luther on 7 July 1897, and by 1915 she was already flickering across nickelodeon screens in *The Pursuing Shadow*. A year later she faced *The Beast*, and in 1923 she held political court in *The Governor's Lady*. Off-screen, she shared her life with vaudevillian Edward Gallagher. Her final scene unfolded in Hollywood, California, on 16 December 1960.
