Biography
A prairie wind carried Buck Connors into the world on 22 November 1880 in Streator, Illinois. By trade a silver-screen cowboy, he both rode and called the shots in The Duke of Chimney Butte (1921), chased crooks through the static of The Radio Detective (1926), and kept the frontier honest in Straight Shootin' (1927). Off-camera he claimed Hazel Powell as his leading lady. His final sunset came 4 February 1947 in Yuma, Arizona.
