Biography
Carlo Cattaneo stepped in front of the camera when Italian silent cinema was still inventing itself, leaving three lightning flashes behind: the freedom cry of Her Life for Liberty (1913), the Napoleonic whirlwind For Napoleon and France (1914), and the epic scale of Quo Vadis? released that same pioneering year.
