Dick La Reno

Biography

Dick La Reno entered the world on 31 October 1863 in Dublin, Ireland, then part of the United Kingdom. He carved a niche for himself in the early days of silent film, appearing in the 1914 classics *The Squaw Man*, *Cameo Kirby* and *Brewster's Millions*. La Reno’s career spanned the transition from stage to screen, and he left a lasting impression in those pioneering productions. He passed away on 26 July 1945 in Hollywood, California, USA.
