Biography
Dorothy Green first drew breath on 5 March 1892 amid the electric bustle of Manhattan. Between 1917 and 1919 she flickered across silent screens—rallying audiences as Patria, scheming through The Dark Star, and braving Forest Rivals—yet the talkie revolution never claimed her. Off-camera she shared her life with two very different husbands: Sam Pomerance and, later, Norman November. She slipped away quietly on 16 November 1963, still in the city that had always been her stage.
