Emma Glenwood stepped before the camera only briefly, yet her flicker still glows: she lit up the gothic corridors of *The House of a Thousand Candles* in 1915, traded shadows with the outcast in *A Black Sheep* the same year, and slipped into silk-and-scandal mode for 1916’s *Wives of the Rich*.
