Biography
A summer baby born on 25 July 1878, George Ferguson first drew breath in Newburgh, New York, then spent the next six-and-a-half decades trading that Hudson River quiet for the flicker of silent-film sets. His face still flickers across Damaged Goods (1914) and The Bruiser (1916), two surviving reels that keep his name alive in the archives.
