Biography
Chicago greeted Harry Schumm on 27 September 1877, and by 1913 he was already stealing scenes in *Wynona’s Vengeance*. Two serials—*The Hazards of Helen* (1914) and *Perils of the Secret Service* (1917)—kept him dodging trains and spies before the cameras finally dimmed. He exited the stage in Los Angeles on 4 April 1953, leaving behind a trail of flickering escapades.
