Biography
Newport, Rhode Island greeted Helene Rosson on 14 June 1897, and by 1916 she had traded Atlantic breezes for klieg lights, stepping into the silent era as the lead in *April*. Five years later she opposite Rudolph Valentino in *Get Your Man* (1921), then traded city salons for dusty saddles in *Wild Horse Canyon* (1925). Off-screen she shared her life with Ashton Dearholt; the final curtain fell on 5 May 1985 when she passed away in sun-washed Palm Beach, Florida.
