Biography
Hermann Seldeneck entered the world on 13 September 1864 and spent his days conjuring characters on screen long before talkies arrived. Moviegoers of the silent era remember him for the intrigue of Suchomlinow (1918), the midnight tension of Der Schuß um Mitternacht (1914), and the society twists in Liebe und Leben, 2. Teil – Die Tochter des Senators (1918). His final curtain fell in April 1922, closing a career that flickered brightly across the early reels of German cinema.
