Biography
Howard Lang first drew breath on 12 May 1874 amid the jazz-soaked streets of New Orleans, Louisiana. A lifetime later, moviegoers would spot his weathered face galloping through Bar 20 Rides Again (1935), trading quips in Call of the Prairie (1936), and racing deadlines in Here's Flash Casey (1938). Off-screen, he shared his life with actress Gwen Heller. The final curtain fell for Lang on 26 January 1941 in Hollywood, California.
