Biography
Pueblo, Colorado, greeted the world with Joe Bordeaux on 9 March 1886, and before long he had traded the Rockies for flickering film sets. Between slapstick groceries in The Butcher Boy (1917), tee-time chaos in Golf Widows (1928), and tracking clues in The Man Hunter (1930), he carved a busy niche in early Hollywood. Off-screen, Madeline Searby stood beside him as wife; on-screen, he kept audiences laughing or on edge until his final curtain fell in Los Angeles on 10 September 1950.
