Biography
Leona Hutton arrived in 1892, stepped straight into the glow of the klieg lights, and stayed just long enough to leave three reels of lightning behind. Between 1914 and 1917 she rode, dove, and clawed her way through The Raiders, unlocked The Secret of the Submarine, and snapped the tense silence of The Snarl—writing her own dialogue when the scripts ran thin. Three decades after her final fade-out, she closed her last scene in Toledo, Ohio, on April 1, 1949.
