Biography

Soviet literary and film editor, financier, financial director of the Russian Telegraph Agency (ROSTA) (1919-1925). He was close friend of Vladimir Mayakovsky, Lili and Osip Brik. After the revolution, in 1919-1925 he was Financial Director of ROSTA. And was a film scoring editor. In 1925 he left for France, decided not to return to Soviet Russia. He continued to engage in banking activities. Later he returned to the USSR. He worked in cinema - at the end of his life in the 1980s at the Kinostudiya imeni M. Gorkogo dubbing films. Member of the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR.
