Biography
Lisa Håkansson-Taube entered the world on 6 January 1880 amid the snow-lit streets of Stockholm, Stockholms län. Before the silent era dimmed, she stepped in front of the camera, firing the first shot of her filmography with 1914’s *Skottet* and later revealing the chains of love in 1917’s *Sin egen slav*. Her final curtain fell on 4 February 1964 at Höstsol, Täby, where the pines keep watch over the same county that first heard her cry.
