Married his 3rd wife circa.1940, Pamela Ruth Burrows. His only two children were born of this marriage, they were Felicity Wendy Tod born 1940 and April Belle Prunella Tod born 1944. He has three granddaughters, he only met his eldest granddaughter. His daughter is a well known sports journalist working for most top British National Newspapers.
