Biography
On the last day of June 1876, Budapest crackled with summer heat the day Margit Koppány drew her first breath inside the Austro-Hungarian capital. Nearly four decades later she stepped before the flickering cameras to help bring “A hercegnö pongyolája” to life in 1914, sealing her place in the fledgeling days of Hungarian cinema.
