Biography
Born in Poland on 25 October 1885, Moritz Bielawski stepped onto silent screens as both storyteller and performer. Within two whirlwind years he left vivid fingerprints on early cinema: he scripted and starred in the jealous-poet drama *Skinsyge-Digteren*, shaped the fate of *Lotteriseddel No. 22162*, and held audiences captive in 1914’s *The Hostage*. Off-camera, he shared his life with wife Glincka. Bielawski’s curtain fell in 1962, but the flicker of those first reels keeps his name alive.
