Biography
René Sellõ entered the world on 18 November 1888 amid the gas-lit boulevards of Budapest. Within a decade she had stepped before the camera, lending her presence to the silent epics *Lotti ezredesei* (1916), *Tavasz a télben* (1918), and *A Kétlelkü asszony* (1918), performances that still flicker as ghost-white memories of Hungary’s early cinema.
