Long before talkies stole the silence, Senta Eichstaedt stepped before the camera and let her face do the talking. In 1913 she unlocked the mystery of Château Richmond, and by 1920 she was juggling a revolver’s caliber—5.2, to be exact—while fending off a midnight caller.
