Biography
Cincinnati, Ohio, welcomed William Clifford on 27 June 1877. A quarter-century later, he stepped before the camera, lending his presence to The Oaklawn Handicap (1915), then diving into the shadows of The Hidden Law (1916) and the turmoil of A Tale of Two Cities (1917). Off-screen, he shared his life with Irene A. Stillings. His final scene closed on 23 December 1941 in Los Angeles, California.
