Biography
Emerging from the heart of London on August 23, 1880, Wyndham Standing embarked on a cinematic journey that would define his legacy in early Hollywood. A versatile talent of both the silent and talkie eras, he left an indelible mark with his roles in the ethereal Earthbound (1920), the rugged adventure The Iron Trail (1921), and the sophisticated comedy Design for Living (1933). Away from the spotlight, he shared his life with fellow actress Winifred Helen Pearson. After a lifetime dedicated to the craft of performance, Standing passed away in Los Angeles on February 1, 1963.
