Biography
Arthur Wright’s shadow first flickered across the screen in 1915, when The Loyal Rebel enlisted him to help chronicle Australia’s restless spirit. A year later he was sprinting beside In the Last Stride, capturing every dust-clouded footfall of that 1916 adventure. By 1922 he had sailed into stormier waters, steering his camera through A Rough Passage and sealing his reputation as a fearless navigator of early Australian cinema.
