Mór Jókai was born on 18 February 1825 in Komárom, Kingdom of Hungary, Austrian Empire [now Komarno, Slovakia]. He was a writer, known for The Gypsy Baron (1927), Der Zigeunerbaron (1975) and Souboj s Bohem (1921). He was married to Bella Nagy and Róza Laborfalvi.
