A Fraternity Mixup

In the rather unconventional setting of a girls' boarding school, the narrative of A Fraternity Mixup unfolds amidst a whirlwind of youthful exuberance and perpetual chaos. Presiding over this spirited institution is Gale Henry, the beleaguered schoolmistress, whose primary occupation seems to be a relentless, Sisyphean struggle against the energetic insubordination of her pupils, particularly their penchant for the then-scandalous Charleston dance. Beyond the internal skirmishes, Henry also shoulders the Herculean task of protecting her charges from both persistent male admirers and, rather inexplicably, a series of wild animals that have made a dramatic escape from a nearby zoo. This already frantic scenario is further amplified by a relentless, almost oppressive atmospheric element: a pervasive, flashing storm, complete with lightning and heavy rain, which punctuates the entire picture, attempting to inject an element of terror into the comedic proceedings and ensuring a constant state of disarray.
