Summary

In a stark frontier struggle, the rapacious cattle baron Flint orchestrates a brutal siege against the homesteading Sims family, deliberately severing their vital water supply. This act of calculated cruelty precipitates tragedy when young Ted Sims, desperate for sustenance, ventures forth only to be summarily executed by one of Flint's ruthless henchmen. Into this crucible of escalating vendetta steps Cheyenne, a hired gun dispatched by Flint to complete the extermination of the resilient Sims clan. However, upon encountering the grief-stricken family gathered in silent vigil at Ted's freshly dug grave, the hardened mercenary undergoes a profound moral awakening, his mercenary resolve dissolving into an unexpected surge of empathy, compelling him to forsake his initial assignment and instead align himself with the beleaguered farmers, setting the stage for an inevitable reckoning.

Synopsis

Cattleman Flint cuts off farmer Sims' water supply. When Sims' son Ted goes for water, one of Flint's men kills him. Cheyenne is sent to finish off Sims, but finding the family at the newly dug grave, he changes sides.
