Biography
Springfield, Ohio, 1878: Bigelow Cooper enters the world and, before the century turns, steps straight into the newborn art of moving pictures. By 1913 he is already pirouetting across the screen in The Treasure of Captain Kidd and Caste, followed two years later by the corseted intrigues of Vanity Fair. Off-camera he shares his life with Anne L. ?, the question mark in her surname the only mystery he never unraveled. After four decades of lighting up nickelodeons, he exits the stage in 1953, quietly settling into the Westchester County soil of New York.
