Biography
Born in the snow-quiet settlement of Yukatan, Minnesota, on 7 January 1862, Clark Comstock traded prairie winds for klieg lights and built a silent-screen résumé that still flickers: the jungle peril of Beasts of Paradise (1923), the frontier sweep of Wolves of the North (1924), and the lustrous grit of Silver Valley (1927). His final curtain fell in Los Angeles on 24 May 1934, but the images he left behind keep rolling through time.
