Biography
In 1877, the mining camp of Globe, Arizona, welcomed a boy who would grow up to answer to the name Eagle Eye. By the early 1920s he had traded desert dust for klieg lights, stepping before cameras to breathe life into silent-era stories: the snow-bitten drama Lure of the Yukon (1924), the sweeping frontier saga The Son of the Wolf (1922), and the romance-laden Serenade (1921). A little over half a century after his birth, on 17 January 1927, his journey ended in Los Angeles, California, closing the curtain on a life that flickered brightly across the silver screen.
