Biography
Hailing from Birmingham, England, where he was born on August 21, 1885, Forrest Stanley became a distinguished figure in early Hollywood as both a writer and an actor. He is perhaps best remembered for his roles in the 1922 films Beauty's Worth and When Knighthood Was in Flower, as well as the 1927 mystery The Cat and the Canary. Married to Marion Hutchins, Stanley lived out his later years in Los Angeles, California, until his death on August 27, 1969.
