Biography
A Halloween baby, Fred L. Wilson first drew breath in Burlington, Iowa on 31 October 1879. Silent-era audiences later discovered him tangling with jungle beasts in *Tarzan of the Apes* (1918), swapping barbs in *Go and Get It* (1920), and chasing winter bandits through *The Blue Fox* (1921). His final curtain fell in Los Angeles on 14 February 1937, closing a life lived between prairie winds and Pacific lights.
