Biography
Philadelphia welcomed Kempton Greene on 28 June 1889, and the footlights soon claimed him. Between 1914 and 1919 he slipped into flickering worlds—first as the conscience-torn lead in *A Question of Right*, then the breezy title charmer of *Millionaire Billie*, finally the desperate prospector of *Fool’s Gold*. When the cameras stopped, he settled across the Delaware in Trenton, New Jersey, where he closed his final scene on 17 May 1939.
