Wilton Taylor

Biography

A native son of New Jersey, Wilton Taylor arrived on 30 May 1870 and spent the next half-century carving a niche on the American stage before leaping into the new world of flickering images. In 1920 alone he sailed from buried doubloons to pirate traps, appearing in Treasure Island, Terror Island, and the whodunit One Hour Before Dawn. Five years later, on 24 January 1925, the curtain rang down for good.
