Biography
George Terwilliger first drew breath on 27 February 1882 amid the electric chaos of New York City. Behind the camera and atop the writer’s chair, he orchestrated shadows and stories that crackled across nickelodeon screens—most memorably in the high-stakes serials *The Nation’s Peril* (1915), *Race Suicide* (1916), and the swirling vengeance of *The Lash of Destiny* (1916). Nearly nine decades after that Manhattan birth, his final curtain fell on 12 December 1970 in sun-washed Hialeah, Florida.
