Biography
A crisp New England morning—4 September 1884—delivered John Gorman to Boston’s streets, and by the time the silent era dimmed he had already left three indelible fingerprints on celluloid: Corruption (1917), Home Sweet Home (1926), and Black Tears (1927). Between “Action!” and “Cut!” he found time to marry twice—first to Vola Vale, later to Clara Smith Hamon—before the final reel rolled on 2 April 1936.
