Emerging from Hamburg, Germany, where he was born on June 30, 1876, Willy Zeyn etched his name into the annals of early cinema as a compelling director and writer. His creative output included a notable flurry of films in 1918, such as the evocative 'Die Tochter des Rajah' and the dramatic 'Die Stunde der Vergeltung.' Two years later, his vision continued to unfold on screen with 'Kaliber fünf Komma zwei' (1920), further solidifying his presence in the burgeoning industry. Zeyn's life in film spanned several pivotal decades before his passing in Munich on August 9, 1946.
