Summary
Eddie and his wife are basking in the joy of parenthood, their little baby being the epicenter of their universe, until their friend Lee arrives, bearing a self-authored book on childcare, which promptly sets off a chain reaction of criticisms and admonitions, as Lee's dogmatic approach to baby-raising clashes with the wife's more instinctual and nurturing methods, further complicated by the arrival of the wife's mother, who brings her own set of traditional values and child-rearing principles to the table, resulting in a cacophonous conflict between Lee and the mother-in-law, ultimately leading to their mutual expulsion and the parents' realization of their own competence in raising their child
