Playboy Teddy Ward wants to marry artist Jeannie King; his father wants him to marry Loris Lane, but tells him he can marry his choice if he can make the Mountain Inn a profitable operation. Teddy agrees, and with his friends' support he arranges an ice-boat race with a $10,000 prize to the winner.

Is this film worth watching?Short answer: Yes, but with a caveat. Fascinating Youth, a 1930 romantic comedy, is a charming slice of Hollywood history, but it's not without its flaw...
